May 2, 2009 - Wine on the Fox
The Village of Oswego in collaboration with the Oswego Visitors Bureau and the Oswegoland Park District is pleased to announce “Wine on the Fox” a premier wine festival in downtown Oswego on Saturday, May 2, 2009. With the assistance of the Fox Valley Winery and the Illinois Grape Growers and Vintners Association, Wine on the Fox will take place in Hudson Crossing Park from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The day will include delicious wine from sixteen Illinois wineries, scrumptious fare and magnificent musical entertainment. A designated driver tent will be sponsored by the Rotary Club of Oswego.
This event is free and open to the public. Wine tasting tickets are available at the event for $10.00 each and include a souvenir wine glass, wristband and five tasting tickets. Additional tasting tickets are available for $1.00 each. All patrons wishing to taste wine must 21 years or older with proper identification.
